Blind Badger  bringing together songs and tunes from England, Ireland, Scotland and the USA, adding their own slant to toe tapping tunes to strong  songs.

Jamie Burney - Fiddle, Viola, Vocals

 

Hailing from the North East with Scottish roots Jamie has been fiddling since he was a young boy.  After moving south in 2006 he  became a regular at the Coach & Horses session and teaches the violin full time.   He not only livens up a set with well known toe tapping tunes but also writes his own energetic melodies.               

 

    

 

 

 

 

                                                                                        

                                             

                                                      Pete Bishop - Vocals, Guitar, Whistles, Harmonica

 

Pete acquired his extensive knowledge on English and Americana songs whilst living and running a local folk club when living in Peterborough.  He is now an enthusistic co host of a music session at the Coach & Horses in Dronfield and considers his journey with music as absolutely necessary.

 

 

 

 

                                                                                   Elaine Dennison - Vocals, Bodhran, Guitar, Bouzouki

Derbyshire born Derbyshire bred Elaine began singing and playing the Bodhran when she was 17 and introduced to folk music by Nottinghamshire band Nicodemus Crowe.  After a break of over 20 years she met Pete and Jamie at a local music session and returned to it.  She still enjoys folk music but also likes to put an acoustic twist on modern and popular songs.
